These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PDFtify website and its associated tools and services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Use of the Service

PDFtify provides a suite of online tools to view, edit, compress, merge, and interact with PDF documents using artificial intelligence. You may use the Service only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable local, state, national, and international laws, rules, and regulations.

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (if applicable).
• You agree not to misuse the Service or help anyone else do so.

2. User Content and Documents

Any document or file you upload to the Service ("User Content") remains yours. We do not claim any ownership rights over your User Content. You grant us a temporary, non-exclusive license to process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the service (e.g., compressing the file, running it through the AI assistant).

Prohibited Content: You agree not to upload any documents that contain illegal, abusive, defamatory, or harmful content. You also agree not to upload documents that violate the intellectual property rights of others.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features of the Service, such as advanced AI tools or higher processing limits, are subject to payment ("Premium Services"). If you choose to upgrade to a Premium Service, you agree to the pricing and payment terms that may be updated from time to time.

• Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis.
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
• We reserve the right to change our prices at any time upon notice.

4. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of PDFtify and its licensors. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall PDFtify, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service;
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service;
• Any content obtained from the Service; and
• Unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
